Well, I am settling in. My classes are going great. The students seem eager to learn and my fellow teachers and staff have been very helpful. The staff at the school have done everything possible to make sure that I was comfortable and eating well. They have been great. I should be able to update more often now that have internet at my apartment. I have been working hard on my Korean Language Skills but I am still struggling. I think that when intensive are over, I will have more time to study. I did enough reading on Korean culture that I am not going through too much culture shock. Although the lack of personal space has taken some time to get use to. The weather is the same as Mississippi. HOT and Humid. Shopping has been fun. I have been trying to use Korean whenever I can. The people that I have spoken to, spoke much better English than I do Korean. Since I really have to turn the page of my language guide to say more than 3 words. But they smiled when I attempted to speak Korean. And usually we quickly switch to English. Korean food is really growing on me. Will update with more pictures soon.....
