Cold Cold

Well the weather is cold and I have one.

I arrived Thursday night about 9:00 to the coldest day of the year according to my coworkers. Jenny was able to meet me at the airport and we had a nice ride in to Yeongtong. After sharing our Christmas gifts I spent the next hour or so unpacking. Damn those bags were full! I got up early on Friday(my clock is still on Mississippi time) I went down to the school to begin training a new teacher. The first comment that one of my Korean coworkers made was Jason you have gained weight!!! No subtlety here. Needless to say, the diet has begun once again. I reckon I have gained about 7 or 8kg and will be keeping you updated on my weight loss once again. If you remember I lost about 28 kg last year when I arrived in Korea. I guess all that Seoul opps soul food and fried everything did me in. Needless to say I didn't go the gym all that much during November and December. Right now my plan is to go 3 times a week while we have our intensive classes. This will require me to be at the Gym around 6:30 am so we will see how that works out.

I had forgetten what is was like to have to throw on the heavy coat and gloves and hat just to walk next door and grab a coffee from the GS store next door!

Speaking of the GS store, the manager was quite happy to see me yesterday and greeted me with a hearty ANNYONGSAYO and a deep bow. I know that I am good for their bottom line. I think I probably account for 10% of their annual sales.

The next few days will be spent getting use to the time change and getting my things in order. Jenny and I are heading into Gangnam after I finish watching demo classes today.

Well I hope that everyone had a good holiday and those of you that I didn't get to see while I was home I am truly sorry. The 7 weeks I was home went by in a blur. I hope that everyone has a great new year and my all your dreams and wishes for the new year come true!
