The Trip So Far

We are still chilling out in Vancouver with Ryan and Summer. Yesterday was a relatively lazy day with all of us catching up with our jet lag. Ryan and I dropped the girls off at a shopping center and went and checked out a couple of locations that we might visit today. We have plans to head towards Whistler. It looks like we will be spending tomorrow at Ryan's parent's house for Thanksgiving.

The girls have been really impressed with everything Western and I have enjoyed seeing the look on their faces of the multitude of different folks we have come across. It reminds me that they do not have a strong mix of different looking people in Korea.

Ryan and Summer have been great hosts. They have taken great care of us and fed us well!!!!!!!! Ryan took me for my first experience at Tim Horton's. I can now see why all of the Canadians in Korea are always talking about how much they miss it.

Friday day and night was spent in downtown Vancouver. Friday night we went and heard a friend of Ryan's who plays in a band.

The weather so far has been rainy. In fact it has rained everyday except for Friday. Tomorrow after dinner we will be packing up and getting ready for the trip to L.A. Our flight leaves at 12 so I guess we will be leaving Ryan's around 9 to make it to the airport a couple of hours before our flight. We will arrive in L.A. around 3pm on Tuesday and will be meeting Hall the next day! We have not decided about our trip to San Francisco yet. We are still looking at how expensive it will be. I'm still tempted to blow the money and rent a car and make the trip. I still really want to drive up highway #1!
