You know I could make all kinds of excuses, but things have been crazy these days. I have pretty much been spending all of my time studying Korean and working. I can't promise that I will post that much, but I am looking to buy a new camera. I am sure that I will posting some of my new shots. I am thinking of buying the Canon 450D and getting the Sigma 30mm 1.4. Lately, have been doing some research and this looks like the best deal. I have been working a lot outside of school as well and this as been taking up much of my free time.
I have been trying to work harder on my Korean studies. It has been hit and miss lately. I have been using a couple of internet sites to study and hope to review those soon.
I have been watching the won rate with sadness lately as well. I have "lost" about 20% in the last 6 months and dread that I have to send money to the states to cover bills. I am praying that I don't have to send any money home until November. I hope that the rate will have improved by then.
I just downloaded Picasa 3 beta and like it already. I haven't been able to test out all the functions, yet, but it looks great. It does have a great collage feature that you can see above. ***Click on the collage for a larger version!

I'm VERY happy with my Canon 450D.
Would you limit yourself to only one wide angle lens, or is that Sigma an extra lens?
Joe, thanks for the comment. I am glad to hear that you are happy with the 450D. I have read a lot of reviews and that was the easy choice to make. I am still trying to decide on lenses. I have read a lot about the Sigma 30mm 1.4/f. Basically, I will get the 450D with the kit lens and have about 450-500K to spend on a second lens. I am really starting to question exactly what kind of lenses I need. I wouldn't limit myself to only one wide angle lens. Any suggestions?
