I spent the day with JJ and her mom. JJ and I took the 1550-2 into Gangnam and then took another bus to Dongdaemun. We ended up walking around for about an hour until we met up with her mom who was in from Jeju. We had lunch at the food court on top of Miglore and then proceded to the hanbok shop. All of JJ's sisters have bought their hanboks here, so we were sure to get a discount. I have never seen her mother bargain, but I have heard stories that she is an excellent deal maker. We picked out enought material for 3 hanboks and she and the shop owner agreed on a price. When she handed over the money, she told him that she should get some change, so that we could have something for dinner(hahaha) Well, after already getting a discount; we ended up with a 20,000 cash back bonus as well.

We left the shop and headed towards JJ's oldest sisters house. She doesn't speak any English and we don't speak much Korean to each other, but she always gives me some kind of gift when we visit. She gave us a couple of bottles of whiskey and a couple of bottles of wine. JJ's mother also loaded us down with galbi, pork, and dongas. We have enough food to feed a damn army now. I will be eating meat and drinking whiskey for at least a month.
